Melanie founded Young CPA, LLC after years of watching individuals struggle with their income tax returns—often discovering too late that they had missed tax rules or regulations that could have reduced what they owed. It wasn’t a lack of intelligence. More often, it was simply that the right questions weren’t being asked.
Determined to change that experience, she built her firm to be proactive rather than reactive.
Melanie has owned and enjoyed rental real estate in the DFW area for decades. While she assists individuals and small businesses with a wide range of accounting needs, she specializes in bookkeeping and taxation related to real estate transactions, including property sales and purchases, 1031 exchanges, and rental properties.
When she’s not discussing home repairs or responding to client texts and calls, you’ll find her chasing grandchildren, refinishing furniture, or researching family history for family and friends.
